Our Mission We strive to provide high quality paint services in an honest reliable, low stress environment, for both our selves and our clients. Our Biography Custom Interior Painting's president and owner is John D. Matley. He is a third generation painter, who has been involved in painting, paints products and construction all his life. His father and grandfather were painters and paint store owners specializing in house and automotive paints. Mr. Matley's father has been a factory representative and troubleshooter for DuPont's auto paint division and is currently a national leader in antique car restorer, specializing in 1920's "one off " Lincoln's and faux finish wood graining. As a young man, Mr. Matley would often assist his father and grandfather in various projects including the building, remodeling and painting of many homes. At the age of nine, Mr. Matley, sprayed his first auto part. He painted his first house exterior at fifteen. By the time he was seventeen, he painted his first complete solo car and boat. Mr. Matley gained valuable experience being an apprentice and working in his father's shop. Following in his father and grandfather's footsteps, Mr. Matley has been working in the finest neighborhoods in the Seattle/Tacoma area since 1989. He also was an apprentice painter under his uncle and brother in-law and later founded Custom Interior Painting and Paint Freaks Airbrush. Custom Interior Painting has drug, smoke and alcohol free work sites. We are a small family owned and operated company. Which focuses its business in high end residential painting. Where Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction is the most important thing. Our Company takes pride in its ability to be efficient and maintain the highest levels quality and craftsmanship. This has been attained though our efforts to continually learn all painting style and new products. We exemplify the highest levels of honesty, courtesy and professional craftsmanship. |
